Cartes highlighted three fully operational production lines at LOUPE Americas 2026, highlighting new developments in digital embellishment, laser diecutting and integrated label production.
The company featured its GEMINI GE363WJ2R equipped with a flexo unit, semi-rotary diecutting and the latest JET D-SCREEN digital embellishment technology. The system featured two independent printbars capable of applying two different digital varnishes in a single production pass, allowing converters to simultaneously produce spot varnishing and Digital Metallic Doming effects while maintaining registration.
Cartes also demonstrated the GT365WHFSR, configured with two flexo units, hot foil stamping, conventional screen printing and semi-rotary diecutting. The configuration enabled multiple printing and finishing processes to be combined inline for one-pass production of premium labels.
A third production line demonstrated Cartes’ laser diecutting technology, which the company has been developing since 1999. The company highlighted its patented ILC – Invisible Laser Cutting system, designed to eliminate the traditional white edge that can appear when laser diecutting labels with dark backgrounds.
According to Cartes, its modular platforms allow converters to integrate conventional and digital printing, embellishment and converting technologies according to specific production requirements, with an emphasis on reducing job changeover times and expanding opportunities for high-value label and packaging applications.
